Celebrating Diversity Month at anynines

April is Diversity Month, and at anynines, we’re excited to take the opportunity to celebrate the vast cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives that make our team truly unique. We recognize the importance of fostering an inclusive environment where every voice is heard and valued.

Why Diversity Matters to Us

For us, diversity is not just about fulfilling a quota or being politically correct; it’s a big component of our corporate ethos. Our super international team represents over a dozen nationalities, each bringing their own unique skills, experiences, and viewpoints to the table. This diversity is one of our major strengths– it helps drive innovation and creativity by allowing us to approach problems and solutions from multiple angles and viewpoints.

Diversity Initiatives at anynines

Here are a handful of ways our company culture specifically benefits from our great diversity:

  • Tastes of Home: Our team members in Saarbrücken often invite each other to discover tastes from around the world without leaving the office by preparing or bringing in dishes from their home countries to share.
  • Language Workshops: With such a linguistically diverse team, we offer language training in German and English to our team members.

  • Employee-Driven Barcamps: Employees are encouraged to host participatory barcamps, where there are no predetermined speakers or formal agendas. Instead, anyone who attends can present a topic or host a session and often these topics are cultural in nature.
